Students practise procedures on manikins and training equipment before they go on ward duty, so first contact with a patient is never the first attempt.

On the ward
Clinical postings
Students are placed on hospital wards under supervision, so the routines of patient assessment, monitoring and handover are learned where they actually happen.
Campus life
Beyond the classroom
Girls hostel with mess facilities and supervised residence, plus college transport, for students travelling in from nearby districts. Campus activities, health-day events and yoga sessions run through the year.
